"A" is for Alyssa, "B" is for "Bookmark", "C" is for "Cause"

I have a really great friend... She has two beautiful daughters. Her eldest daughter (Kaitlyn, now 8 years) affectionately calls me "Auntie Rina". Her youngest (Alyssa, 4 years) was diagnosed as autistic last year. My friend has been so strong in dealing with her daughter's diagnosis. Alyssa gets about 6 hours of therapy each day from various sources. In particular, Alyssa goes for therapy at the Carolyn E. Wylie Center in Riverside. My friend LOVES the staff at Wylie and asked me to make some hand made gifts as a thank you to the wonderful staff who help her daughter every day.

Some of you may know, the puzzle piece is the symbol for autism awareness. So, when my friend saw that Creative Memories had a limited edition puzzle maker she knew that the puzzle maker was needed for Alyssa's scrapbook and for the gifts I would make for the Wylie center staff.

After a bit of crafter's block (similar to writer's block), I created the winning design. The end product came out fabulous (if I do say so myself). My friend was estatic to see the bookmarks! If you would like to order these (or have a special request for handmade cards, bookmarks or scrapbooks), please send me an email and I can provide you will pricing and estimated delivery time.
