How to use Sussle.org

Good Morning Crafters!

I recently was introduced to a new website, Sussle.org, that is a community of interesting people collecting the most interesting things about any topic.  Through Sussle individuals can contribute content by sharing:

  • Images
  • Videos
  • Website links
  • Text
  • Audio clips
Here are a few things that I have learned about Sussle.org now that I am part of the Sussle contributor community:

1.  The Sussle Profile:  You earn a profile by adding a minimum of 5 posts.  I added posts from my most popular blogs including my Orange is the New Black Season Premier Party, DIY Construction Party, Mad Hatter Tea Party Hat Decorating Instructions and Tie Dye Tutorials.  I am going to load more posts today too - it's really easy, you also have the ability to add your website information and a brief description.  I like that it does allow me to show off the fun graphics I create for my blog posts.  Check out my Sussle profile, and like my posts if you find them interesting, here: http://sussle.org/me/fb-1392072337

2.  Interesting Topics:  Sussle is organized by interesting topics.  I have looked and scrolled on the Craft, Crochet and Tie Dye topics so far, as I was checking them out before loading my own posts.  If you have a specific topic that you want to learn about, you just search the site and (if contributed content exists) you will be able to see all of the posts on that topic by simply scrolling through.  This is cool because you can see all relevant posts on a topic and don't need to keep searching different terms or like terms.

3.  Educational Scholarship:  Another great reason to check out Sussle and become part of the community is for the ongoing educational scholarship that it offers for high school seniors, or current undergraduate and graduate students!  Click here to learn about the specific application requirements:  Sussle Scholarship Information.

I hope you learned a little bit about Sussle.org, a website with Awesomely Interesting information!   You should check it out if you have blog posts or other fun information to share.

  1. I looks like a good idea, especially with the scholarship aspect. However, I don't think I will sign up, as I have a hard enough time just looking at a few face book posts. I work 20 hours a week, so unfortunately, any social media takes a back seat.

  2. I still have to play with it a little more, but I liked that there was nothing in the side bar to distract you from what you were looking at. It made the pictures stand out more. So far, it's been easy to navigate and find what I'm looking for.
